i have decided to do something drastic and quit my job and move to maui for 6 months and then to....

still no luck with the date thing.
maybe this little lady can help me out when im staying with her for 3 weeks.
i only have to hold for another 10 days!!!

so until then, manual dates.
and weekly blogs apparently.

work has been nuts.
i am quickly running out of time to get shit together.
a list has been made, but no packing done.
i dont even get my suitcase until the weekend.
ho hum.
maybe i should make a pile.. or start to anyways..

what do i need to bring?
apparently there is snow, so warm stuff.
but cute stuff too!
i hope its a big suitcase.. (borrowing from a friend so i have no idea)

ive been watching the wire finally, after many have told me how great it is.
i started season 2 last night and am 3 episodes in so far.
10 days to watch the rest. i can do this!
season 3 awaits me in denmark and i have to be ready!

i am starting to get excited about going too.
finally right?
its just been so busy that i dont have much time to think about it.
probably for the best...
also, usually when i travel, my days are action packed with things to do and places to go.
this time, i have 3 weeks in copenhagen with no plans.
so great.
my good friend sarah is going to come and see me there for 5 days which will rule hard.
also, this chicky will be in town for a few days too! fun times!

i cant wait to just be done work already.
lots of possibilities for new work when i am back.
in a new company even.
but no details, so thats all you get.

oh, did i mention i got a new nerdy tattoo over the christmas break?

i dont even know what the date is anymore, thats how crazy this week has been.

also, i dont know how to make the date appear above my posts like amalie's blog.. and ive looked! i swear... maybe im blind but i cant seem to get it..

the week is almost done. i have to work today to make sure the movers get everyones stuff to their new desks properly. yes, even though they are 'professional' movers, they are monkeys and fuck shit up all the time. so, yay for saturday.

been planning more of my trip to europe, but man, i seem to have no time.
im hoping once this big move is done with, i can focus some more.
i keep getting asked if im getting excited to go, and i am, but not like i think i should be.
i have no time! and that sucks... but its 4 weeks today! oh man..

been hitting the gym the last few days, and that is feeling pretty good.
im also not drinking for january. i started to get out of control towards the end of last year, and i need to dry out a bit.
along with that, im trying to cut back on my dairy, sugar and salt intake, though i failed miserabley with that last night, as my friend Jen came over and we snacked alot.
ah well, sometimes its needed to lift heavy spirits, right?

so far this years blogging has been devoid of pictures.
and that is going to continue into todays.. i dont have many pictures to share right now.
ill try find some from over the christmas break.

its funny cause it think about it all the time.

i am blaming the fact that i hate where i live so much that it sucks my will to do anything when i get home.
that and work has been insane.

the good news?
im moving in three weeks!

then i will live alone again!
im taking over a friends place, and she is leaving alot of her furniture for me to use til her and her man get a bigger place, so i dont have to aquire new stuffs. this works perfectly for me.

my plan?
to be much happier in my new spot!
maybe start having some energy to do things like talk to friends and blog and exercise.
yes, you read that right, blogging does come before exercise.
maybe ill use it to push myself to exercise more?
who knows...

but til then.. i think of you guys... and try to find time to read blogs..
but i just dont feel like it when i get... here.
come on three weeks! fly by!!!!

so im trying to keep up with my blogging. honest.
but i dont want to just give all words and no pictures.

however, the internet here flicks in and out.
so im continually having to repair the connection and get back at it.

its really annoying for using messenger.
and even more annoying when trying to load pictures.
cause i have to keep reloading them, or redoing it all.

so im trying. honest.

but i can tell you that i was supposed to be on a plane this very moment.
but im still here.
til friday now!
then im really going home.

5 extra days in hawaii.
and i get to babysit a bit (its ok) and get paid (very ok!)

the internet is finally working here but it is so annoying i could lose it. i have to keep manually reconnecting... took forever to get the next 3 blogs up, complete with their pics.

Yes, its triple post day. I just looked back at my old blog, and it appears that I started that on Aug 1, 2004. Kind of fitting that I start this one pretty much 4 years later.

I think what I will enjoy most about this one, is that no one really knows about it. I only know about 5 people who blog here, so that works for me. Something I didnt enjoy about my last one, was that if I were ever upset about something someone did, I couldnt always write about it, as they could read it or find out. And since this is meant to somewhat be my 'diary', I think its better that no one really knows.. for now anyways..

Just finished watching Howl's Moving Castle. Curled up on the couch, warm blanket and dinner. It's only 11 but I'll probably go to sleep soon anyways. Maybe i'll attack the storage closet tomorrow...

I also copied out all of the Danish vocabulary that my bedstemor gave me when I visited her. Its from over a year ago, as my example of age was 28. Yikes! I really need to get on this!!
