misery loves company?

csi was supposed to be on tonight. but because of amurican thanksgiving it was a rerun. i hadnt seen most of it so that was ok, and everyone was sick. just like me! we were all coughing together. like a lovely little family. /sigh

this dry cough may make me cough my lungs right out. its pretty fantastic. ill have to pick up some meds tomorrow.. along with some nyquil for saturday!!!

steve still hasnt gotten back to me though. i dont want to feel weird about it, but i cant help it. and do i say something when i get there? i dont want six hours of awkwardness but... what the hell??? arg.

bad sock day

dont socks know that they are supposed to stay on your feet? my right sock kept falling down my foot today.. so i could feel it slide over my heel and into my shoe. what the heck sock?! know your role! TO BE ON MY FOOT. not under it. gawd.

tuesday only? already??

i love sneezing. i just had to get that out there. ive been doing alot of it lately too. at least there is something to enjoy about being sick.

i am soooo busy at work still. but, that just means more overtime that i get paid time and a half for, which means more money to save for moving and for my little trips coming up. 4 weeks! well less than that really.. ill be in calgary already in 4 weeks.. cant wait!!!

i just looked at the weather network.. boston and new york are about the same temp as here right now.. florida is about 10+ degrees higher and austin even higher!! yay warm weather! im so glad im ending the trip in the warm instead of the cold..

what else has been going on..

just work. work work work. i went out for noodles with janine and deandra last thursday, and then to the foundation for yummy vegan spicy peanut (the ONLY thing i ever order there. stick with what you know you like) with christine, and then deandra randomly showed up, and claire joined us. it was nice to see friends again! i dont do that anymore. stupid work.

must stay focused on moving. making money and moving. and getting tattooed!

saturday is a 6 hour sit! or a 6 hour appointment anyways. ill be ready to rock, i just hope steve is. he is being wierd and almost flakey lately. he wont email or call me back to confirm an appointment in january that he emailed me about first. we talked about it at my last appointment too, but i didnt know if he wrote it down, so i called on my way home to remind him. no call back. i called and left a message two weeks later, no call back. he emailed me last friday to make sure we were on for this saturday, i replied with yes and btw, did you get my message and can you please let me know about january? (it was worded much nicer and fluffier than that of course) aaaaaand.... no email back! what the heck steve! i dont know if something huge is going on for him right now or what.. but yikes. i need my appointmet. must. finish. arm!

i really want to get on packing up my stuff, but all my bins are full of stuff to sell... hrmmmm. i dont know why i want to pack so bad. i mean, i have six months-ish to go.. but still! maybe it will make me feel more organized? or maybe i will be able to see what else i need to get rid of better. after christmas i will look into starting something. maybe...

ok probably not. but ill talk about it some more!

i was waiting to post pictures of my wrap party that i planned and threw for my team, but the guy with the rest of the (probably) actually good pictures hasnt come around. so here are a couple that i took. i was so busy all night that i didnt even get to take pictures!

congestion

i has it. i woke at 6 am gasping, as the other side of my nose decided to plug up. so i was breathing through my mouth only, and was super dehydrated. also, my nose was running. good morning!

that was all i had to say about that. but! i will leave you with this to ponder.

why, when you are putting on mascara, does one eye turn out perfect, and then the other one screw up horribly. usually chunky and all stuck together. and do i now wash all my make up off and start over, or make some challenging attempt to remove some of the mascara from that eye, usually making it worse.. arg.

oh, its raining too!

the world is an amazing place

i was tlc alot. its a channel here that has lots of reality-ish tv shows, but not hollywood at all. just real reality. home renovations and fashion and medical things. stuff like that. and more.

so tonight, a show came on about britney and abby, conjoined twins that share a body, but have their own heart, lungs and digestive systems (for the most part). they are basically a two headed girl. i found it so hard to comprehend. each girl controls her side of the body, and has no feeling of the other side at all, and yet somehow, they walk and play sports, ride bikes and drive cars. i think i cried through half of it at least. its so amazing and mind boggling.

i just cant even imagine. they were 16 as of the show i watched, but i guess are 18 now.

new kids were my first concert ever. they played last night. i couldnt find anyone to go with me before, but evil facebook lets me know who all went now. i mean, i was sick so i couldnt go anyways, but man, i would have loved too!

i was going to update tonight with pictures and all that good stuff, but instead, i am sick. feel sorry for me. i am achey everywhere and i have a headache and im cold and whiny and blah blah blah. my throat hurts and is scratchy, and i can feel my sinuses plugging at the back and sometimes i can feel it in my ear canal. boo.

everyone at work has been sick, and i did such a good job of fighting it off for so long, but i think my body is tired of working so hard and not getting enough rest or relaxation so its taking matters into its own hands..

im going to go grump on my couch with my big fluffy blankts and watch what not to wear til i fall asleep.

hope i feel better tomorrow.

it is all done! all my projects! and now back to stressless life! well.. less stressful at least...

ive been thinking alot about taking nicer pictures... my little canon takes alright ones.. but they dont always have that sharp artsy look that some people can achieve.. i had a better digital one before that my mom still has, so i may reaquire that one.. but only if i can get different lenses for it.. ive been inspired by Allans different camera adventures.. and i want to try it all out. plus, my mom works at a camera store, so maybe i can get some cheap stuff? we'll see...

she did ask me if i was after a macro lense or a zoom lense.. and quite frankly... i dont know...
