well, its been a while. i know i know. bad corey.
so lets get some blogging done!

im in kelowna right now, staying with my grandma.
i dont know what it is about being here, but i get so lazy.
literally, all we do is eat and sleep.
here is our day today:

grandma got up at 630 and went for coffee
i got up at 730
ate breakfast at the table
read our books until around 1030
went down to the in house library that my grandma looks after
put some books away
came back up to read some more until 1130
lunch
back upstairs to read and nap (i napped anyways)
went for a walk for 45 min around 330
watch tv until 530
go down and eat dinner
watch tv until
go to bed

repeat

party time right?
its super relaxing for sure, but i almost feel lethargic here.
ah well, i love visiting!

ill take some pics tomorrow

in the meantime, enjoy some backlog-blogging.

finally! arm 2

ok, this took ages to post
and i need to take better pics, but here you go for now.

first three hours done.
still have to outline more dinos and meteors on the back of my arm.

house partay

last weekend was out of control

it started out nice enough.
finished work on friday, had a couple glasses of wine and then headed home
after dropping off my work bag, i headed out to bo kong.
bo kong is a delicious buddish chinese vegetarian restaurant
heather mclean and fam was in town, so a group of us went out to eat
sadly, no pics of either people or food.
but it was good. believe me.

saturday i got up and headed down to the aquarium with taryn for alexis' first birthday.
alexis is dave and jen's daughter.
wandered the aquarium for a bit, checking out the sloth, aligators and octopus.
and dont forget the jellyfish!

afterwards, i came home for a nap and then went out to a house party/birthday party at coralie's.
i work with her, and as much as i love her, i am not partying with work folk anymore.
deandra and karina accompanied me, and we did have a blast.
but... yikers.
most of the guys there were from coralie's team, and not mine, so that was okay, but there was one guy from my team.
and lets talk about wildly innappropriate things being said to me.
actually, lets not.
lets just say that it was a little uncomfortable on monday, but i think we are okay now.

sunday was breakfast at the usual spot again, and then another sunday of sitting on my couch watching the big screen.
some episodes of extras, a couple of entourage, and then just good ol tv

we have slowly been getting better spring weather!
definately alot of rain still, but sun too!

two saturdays ago i walked to meet deandra for breakfast
i was inspired by these pretty little flowers
it felt so good and sunny out!

the rest of our day was spent watching californication on my couch
i have since finished season one, and have downloaded season two.

molokai

did you ever see this island?

probably not cause im a slacker and i dont make posts.

Danielle, Haylie, Fry and I got on the ferry one early morning and headed over to the quiet island of molokai.

the ferry itself was harrowing to say the least.
where two of the channels cross, the boat rocked so hard i still find it hard to believe that water didnt just come over the side.
it was almost impossible to walk on board.
i took haylie inside cause she was terrified, and the poor thing got sick.
i had fun myself..

(this was on the way back, but still)






















once on the island, we got our rental car, which was the single oldest most beat up rental car in the entire worldwide fleet im sure.
this poor thing has been shit kicked.
but we took it from one end of the island to the other anyways.

first we drove to the western side, and hung out on papohaku beach for a while.
3 miles of white sand and maybe 5 other people.






















it turned out to be too windy, so we piled back in the car and drove way to the other end.

some lava sand mixed in when we dug deep enough

not really alot to report, but it was neat to see it i guess.
i can check it off of my list in any event.

cypress!

went snowboarding tonight.
finally.
i bought a wednesday night pass to cypress mountain and only picked it up tonight.
there wasnt any snow before christmas, and then ive only been home for 3 wednesdays since. well 4, but there was no way i was going last week.

so tonight was the magic night.
jesse from work said he had room to take me up this time, so the two of us went.
soooo rad.

i super hope that there will be enough snow and a ride for me next week.
i totally could have ridden longer.
